Why Goldenrod?
Our school is named for the goldenrod plant-
a native plant here in Wisconsin as well as a keystone species that supports pollinator biodiversity. Goldenrod has long been valued for its healing properties, and its Latin name of Solidago means "to make whole." A field of vibrantly yellow goldenrod represents the healthy and joyful communities we seek to create in our school.

Goldenrod Montessori is a school that builds respectful and joyful communities through nature-based Montessori practices
Vision
We envision an interwoven, accessible Montessori community in the Madison area that gives children a foundation to grow into capable, passionate, and respectful humans.
