Thanks to everyone who celebrated Mother’s Day with us this past weekend! We loved seeing so many familiar faces, and we had a lot of fun connecting with you all!
A huge shout-out is due to Kate Schiffman, our elementary teacher, who led the charge in planning this event– a task I can best describe as juggling 12 different balls in the air for a month.
Kudos to all the kids who submitted their art to the kid’s art sale! What a treat to see all that creativity in one spot!
Thanks also to everyone who bid in the silent auction– there were some awesome lots in the auction and we hope you enjoy your prizes!
Speaking of– my favorite party of the event was seeing the silent auction come together. So many folks from our community pitched in to help make it a success. Our friends and family, as well as the families of children we’ve taught over the years, donated their time and services; some people donated gift cards to their own businesses. And our future landlords donated that delicious chocolate cake! It’s wonderful to be on the receiving end of so much support. Community is at the center of our mission and having our community show up for us means the world!
